Bokashi Bran is primarily for use with the Bokashi Bucket, but can also be used to speed up the composting of leaves.
Supplied as 2kg bag, this should be sufficient for about 4 months use with the Bokashi Bucket.
Bokashi Bran transforms what would be a putrefaction process into a fermentation process. The Bokashi Bran contains bran, molasses and a pro-biotic mixture containing Effective Micro-organisms. The EM’s are the magic ingredient and contain photosynthetic bacteria, lactic acid bacteria, actinomycetes and yeasts. All of these are natural, not genetically modified, and mutually compatible with one another. Together they suppress pathogens, speed-up the composting process and eliminate foul odours.
