A basic but substantial wooden compost bin made from solid pine wood (treated in a non toxic preservative which will not kill worms or bugs in the compost). The modular design means that you can add new modules to expand your wooden composter should you need to. The panels simply slide out to allow easy access for compost removal. The system is very easy to assemble and does not require any tools.

The generous expandable 620 litre capacity makes it ideal for small or large gardens. Wooden compost bins are favoured over plastic composters because of their porosity, allowing the composting process to ‘breathe’.

The kit comes complete with easy to follow assembly instructions and an eight page ‘Composting made easy for yourself’ guide.

	Standard size 620 litres offering adequate composting space for around 2-4 people. If you have a larger garden or are using a bokashi bucket, you may wish to opt for the double or triple size.
	Solid sides Warmth is an important ingredient in the composting process. The solid wall retains heat within your compost bin. But compared with slatted compost bins you will need to mix your compost around from time to time, in order to allow air to get in (another important ingredient).
	Expandable modular construction This means that should you need to increase the size of your bin at a later date you can do so affordably and easily.
	Half-inch wall thickness Unlike cheaper composters the thick wall provides strength, insulation and a longer life.
	Removable panels for easy access Each wall of the compost bin is made up of 5 sliding panels. making it easy to access your compost when you come to empty it.
