Product Details:
The classic SSI SCHAEFER bins have been continuously in use in many municipalities and industrial premises for more than 30 years. These two-wheeled bins are light, robust and extremely sturdy.
Product features:
4-point hinge system - unlike many double hinge designs the schaefer 4-point hinge offers a much more durable hinge mechanism (one of the key failure points of a wheelie bin).
Choice of colours - allowing you to allocate a different colour bin for separate waste types. This will greatly increase user participation and improve the effectiveness of your scheme by minimising incorrect material disposal.
Reinforced axle - a strengthened axle and wheel system means that your bin will hold more weight than other wheelie bins of the same size and also last longer, ideal for bins being wheeled to a remote collection point. Large, smooth and quiet wheels also provide stability and manoeuvrability.
Reinforced Standard comb bar - The point where collection vehicles lift the bin. This is compatable with waste collection vehicles with EN-Standard comb lifts.
Angled lid handles - for improved ergonomics.
Schaefer wheelie bins are produced in accordance with DIN EN 840-1 and conforming to EU noise protection regulations.
