The 2.8HM Soft Touch Cylinder Mower is the latest in the Soft Touch range of push mowers from ALKO, offering exceptional performance and value for money. It is lightweight, robust and simple to use. It also provides an impressive quality of cut which is comparable to more expensive mowers.
Featuring extra wide high traction wheels to give improved manouvrability and cutting performance while being gentle on your lawn. The ALKO 2.8HM also has bumpers to protect the mower body from impacts as well as the contact free cutting and quiet operation. The contact-free cutting system administers a clean, scissor-like cut that prevents the grass from turning yellow. The result is an exceptionally trimmed, healthy looking lawn.
Whilst mowing your lawn you will appreciate the various features of this value-for-money lawnmower. At just 8 kgs, it is lightweight, highly manoeuvrable and light enough to hang in a cupboard or on the garage or shed wall. There are 4 cutting heights available, each of which can be easily selected by moving the synthetic roller into the required slot. Additionally, the moulded plastic cover helps to protect overhanging flowers and shrubs from being damaged.
Mower comes fully assembled except for the handle – Assembly of the handle takes less than five minutes.
Lawn Size and Type:
- This mower is recommended for lawn areas of up to 150 sq.m.
- Hand mowers are not recommended for very ‘bumpy’ or coarsely undulating lawns.
- If your grass is not cut on a weekly basis or is allowed to become too long, pushing naturally becomes harder.
